The great majority of the books listed on this site are in very good condition and we do take great care to accurately describe even fairly minor imperfections in the hope that we may prevent disappointment. However, all books are sent on approval and may be returned within 14 days of receipt, for whatever reason. Books may be returned at our expense if they are found not to be as described, If you do wish to return a book please inform us first, and await our acknowledgement and shipping instructions before dispatch.

In the event of a refund, the value of the book at time of purchase will be refunded to the same credit or debit card account used to make the initial payment. Upon receipt of the returned item(s), we will immediately make arrangements to process the refund. This should take between three and five working days to clear.

The item(s) should be returned to us in the exact state that they were initially delivered. As already stated above, we will cover the cost of the return of any items that have arrived not as described on our website. For all other items, the customer is expected to deliver the book back to us at their own expense.

Payment by Credit and Debit Card

Our credit card processor requires us to deliver all internet orders to the billing address of the card. In certain circumstances, we may be able to arrange delivery to a more convenient address, such as a work address provided that the customer is known to us.

Shipping Terms

All books are sent fully insured, and carefully packed and will be charged at our default rates unless exceptionally heavy.

All books are sent postage free within the UK, International shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2lb, or 1kg. For international orders, if your book order is particularly heavy, or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
