Fourth edition, 8vo., pp. 490, 18, reverse calf, mimic panelled calf boards, five raised bands, leather title inlay to spine, 13 of 14 b/w plates, contains: ‘A Voyage to Virginia in 1649’; several ownership inscriptions to front free endpapers, foxing and light soil throughout, marginal damage to several plates, previous owner’s repairs to first plate, a large tear has been sewn up with white thread, gutter visible between some leaves, lacks pages 301-4, wear to boards, a good copy of this scarce volume.
