First edition, Scarce, re-cased, 8vo., pp. x,177, pictorial blue cloth, black lettering, colour plates, b/w illustrations, colour frontispiece; ownership autograph and small inscription to front free endpaper, toning and foxing to title page, edges of text block, endpapers and occasionally quite significantly foxed to margins with occasional lighter foxing present throughout, plate to p.60 has a crease and neat repair to the margin, plate to p.112 with small marginal repair, very slight cracking to upper inner section of inner hinge, rubbing to extremities with light wear to corners and along lower edges of boards, light toning to spine, otherwise a very good copy. No dust-jacket.
