First edition, 4to., 48 mounted pages of calligraphic text, 48 mounted colour plates, publisher’s vellum-backed boards, spine elaborately decorated in gilt; foxing to title and dedication pages, and, lightly, to first text leaf, foxing and toning to endpapers, occasional foxing within, particularly at inner margins, very slight rubbing and minor darkening to head and tail of spine, paper worn at corners of boards, but spine quite bright with clear gilt decoration, overall about very good, in a rather worn and heavily repaired dust-jacket with archival tape to reverse, which has creasing, closed tears and minor loss to extremities, as well as some marking to the paper (splash-marking to front of jacket), but…
