Wood-engraved panorama, uncoloured, mounted on linen, presenting parallel views of both sides of the exhibition hall, with accompanying text precis below, 11 joined sheets forming panorama measuring c.280 x 6700 mm (or 11 x 263 in), rolled, with blue cloth flap lettered in gilt, which is backed with coloured charts showing varying footfall at the Exhibition; cloth is mottled with dampstaining, gilt dulled, diagram to reverse of cloth flap has splits to the paper, and bears small, neat ink ownership inscription (dated 1852), the first section of the panorama has closed tears to edges of the paper, with some staining to the linen, as well as ownership inscription to linen backing, the scarce panorama is otherwise in excellent condition.
