Fraser; armorial bookplate to front paste-down endpaper, 3cm tear to text of p.49/50 (not affecting legibility), small hole to text of p.45/6 (apx. 4x3mm; again, text remains legible), small closed tear to lower margin of final text-leaf (p.209/10), light foxing and a few light marks to plates, rubbing to spine and extremities, with slight loss to head and tailbands, spine worn and retouched, joints starting but remain firm, a good+ copy, which is internally very good.

London: 1746. 8vo., pp.(xx) Introduction,(ii),9-54,(i), mispagination at p.xvii, though content is complete, bound in half calf with marbled boards, gilt-lettered spine; indented area of apx. 18 x 18mms to upper margin of front paste-down endpaper, title darkened, with small area of superficial loss at upper margin where pages have been conjoined, just occasional light marking to margins within, with faint crease to upper corners throughout, rubbing and light wear at extremities, with loss at tailband and a little cracking with slight loss along upper joint, a very good copy. Scarce.
