First edition, with translator’s ink presentation inscription to head of front free endpaper, tall 8vo., pp.xvii,379, uncut, pictorial pale blue cloth lettered in black, with gilt accents to front board, t.e.g., frontispiece and pictorial title, title in red and black, 22 further b/w plates with decorative borders in red, as well as numerous decorative head and tailpieces; foxing to endpapers and adjacent leaves, light toning to margins, clean within, rubbing to extremities, with some light general surface soil to the pale cloth, spine a little dulled, a near-very good copy of this scarce volume.
