Two volumes, 8vo., pp.260;272, full speckled calf, five raised bands, with burgundy title bands and gilt lettering to spines, marbled endpapers, gilt to edges of text block, b/w illustrations and b/w frontispiece to volume I; light toning and foxing throughout, with heavier foxing to endpapers, rubbing to extremities with light wear to corners of boards, cracking along outer hinges meaning boards becoming slightly loose but boards and contents firm, area of loss to calf at lower spine of volume II, otherwise a very good set.
