Mixed set of six volumes in seven (Volume III comprises two parts), 8vo., pp.xxiv,498;xxi,428;lxv,201;xc,186;liv,408;lvi,491;xxii,492, red cloth, gilt, b/w frontispieces and further b/w plates; small ownership autograph to upper corner of front free endpaper of volumes I and III, foxing to edges, some light foxing and toning to endpapers, a very good set, in lightly worn dust-jackets, which are uniformly toned to spines, with a couple of small closed tears to extremities, with remains of small paper price label to spine of jacket to Volume IV, and now all in protective covers. Volumes I and VI first edition thus, Volume II third edition, reset, Volume IIIi second impression, IIIii second edition, Volume IV corrected reprint of the second edition, Volume V third, revised edition.
