Three volumes, large 8vo., pp.xxiv,500;xxiii,511;xxii,513 black cloth with stamped title-labels, gilt, b/w illustrations; neat ownership bookplate to front paste-down endpaper of all volumes, publisher’s ‘damaged’ stamp faintly to title verso of Volume II, upper corner of front board to Volume I lightly bumped, a very good, fresh set, in vg unclipped dust-jackets, of which jacket to Volume I has scotch-tape reinforcement to head/foot of spine, and jacket to Volume III has small bump to lower edge, with a little rubbing to extremities of jackets generally.
