Early edition, 8vo., pp.208,(26) publisher’s adverts, pictorial green cloth, blocked in red and blue, gilt lettering, pictorial spine, b/w frontispiece and two further b/w plates; inked gift inscription to frontispiece recto, toning to margins, foxing to title page and occasionally to margins throughout, rubbing to cloth at extremities, an otherwise very good copy. Very early edition with no mention of other Brazil titles but from the catalogue of Boys’ adventure books to the rear this was probably issued 1907-8.
